Visit of the Royal Laxmi Vilas Palace, museum Fateh Sing and the archeological site of Lothal.
Early morning departure for Palitana (120 km return), visit of the
Adinath Temple, Adishvara Temple, Barton Museum, Gandhi Memorial and Takhteshwara Temple.
Day 6 and 7 Bhavnagar – Diu
Discover this charming former Portuguese trading post. Two days to enjoy this peaceful island, Diu Town and its whitewashed buildings. Not forgetting the imposing Portuguese fort, the fish market, the fishing villages and the pretty beaches on the island. Swimming is possible.
Temple Somnath, Mémorial Nuri Shah, Jami Masjid, then visit of Sasan Gir (50km).
Safari to discover the Asian lions.
Day 10 and 11 Sasan Gir – Junagadh
Climb Girnar Hill (1117 m) then departure for Dwarka.
Drive to Dwarka, one of the four holiest Hindu cities, and visit of the Dwarkadhish Temple.
Drive to Jamnagar. Free day to explore the picturesque old town at your own pace.
Stopover in the village of Dhamadka, renowned for its vegetable dyeing techniques, then arrival in Bhuj.
Discovering the villages of Dhordo, Ludia and Khavda, and night in Hodka.
Drive to Bhuj, free afternoon to explore the city.
Stop at Dasada for birdwatching, night at Zainabad.
Safari to discover the wild donkeys.
Transfer to Ahmedabad.
End of the trip and transfer to the airport/train station
This itinerary goes through Gujarat, taking in natural sanctuaries, unique archaeological sites, colonial relics, temples and mosques.
